Sixers & Stumps — Membership Terms & Conditions

Entity: Sixers & Stumps LLC, a California limited liability company (“Sixers & Stumps,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Location: Lake Forest, California.

By purchasing or using a Sixers & Stumps membership or one-time rental package, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Rules & Regulations, Privacy Policy, and Liability Waiver (collectively, the “Agreement”). If anything here conflicts with a written agreement signed by both you and Sixers & Stumps, the signed agreement controls.


Key Definitions

  • Member / You: The individual purchasing and using a membership.
  • Basic Membership: $99.99/month plan described below.
  • Plus Membership: $149.99/month plan described below.
  • Annual Renewal Fee: $59.99 charged once per membership year.
  • Admin Fee: One-time enrollment fee of $39.99.
  • Session: A booked lane time block.
  • Credit: The monthly included hours or sessions associated with your plan.

Enrollment, Billing & Auto-Renewal

  • Enrollment Charges: At sign-up, you will be charged the first month’s membership fee, the Admin Fee ($39.99), and taxes, if any.
  • Annual Renewal Fee: $59.99 charged once per year on your membership anniversary date.
  • Auto-Renewal: All memberships automatically renew monthly until canceled. By enrolling, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method for membership fees, taxes, and the Annual Renewal Fee, as applicable.
  • Receipts/Confirmations: We will email you written confirmation of your enrollment and renewal terms, and a receipt after each charge.
  • Updating Payment Method: You must keep a valid payment method on file. If a charge fails, we may suspend access until the balance is paid.
  • Price Changes: We may change rates or fees with 30 days’ advance notice. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

California Automatic Renewal Disclosures: You can cancel online any time (see Section 6). For memberships with an annual renewal fee, we will email a reminder 15–45 days before the fee is charged each year.

Minimum Commitment, Freezes & Cancellations

  • Minimum Commitment: Basic and Plus memberships require a minimum four (4) month commitment from the start date. If you cancel before 4 months you are required to pay the balance. 30 Days Notice period required.
  • Freezes: After completing the initial 4-month commitment, you may freeze once per membership year for up to three (3) consecutive months at $39.99/month.
    • Freezes begin the month after your request date.
    • Freeze time extends your membership term and resets your renewal date accordingly.
  • Cancellation:
    • You may cancel any time after the initial 4-month commitment period.
    • How to cancel:
    • Effective date: Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not prorate or refund partial months, or Any fee selected.
  • Promotions on Cancel: If you cancel, any promotional or legacy pricing ends. Re-enrollment is at current rates, fees, and promotions.

General Membership Conditions

  • Memberships include lane rentals only. Complimentary use of a bowling machine or a 25-ball bucket is subject to availability.
  • Guests:
    • One (1) additional player may join your session at no extra cost.
    • Each additional person after the first is $10 per session.
    • Non-members must be accompanied by the member who booked the lane.
    • Violations may result in removal and a 1-hour deduction from your monthly allotment.
    • Only 1 additional player allowed while using lane with bowling machine.
  • Admin Fee: A one-time $39.99 enrollment fee applies.
  • Annual Renewal Fee: $59.99 per membership year.
  • Use-It-or-Lose-It: Monthly hours do not roll over.
  • Compliance: All members and guests must follow posted Safety Rules and Bowling Machine Rules.
  • Age & Supervision: Minors must have a parent/guardian sign the Liability Waiver and be supervised at all times.
  • Coaching and Commercial Use Restriction: Memberships are for personal, non-commercial use only. Conducting paid coaching, training sessions, or any business activity within the facility without prior written consent from Sixers & Stumps LLC is strictly prohibited. Coaches or instructors seeking to train students must contact Sixers & Stumps LLC to arrange an approved Custom Coaching Package.

Membership Plans

  • Basic — $99.99/month
    • Up to 60 minutes per day, 8 hours max per month.
    • Advance booking required.
    • No-show or late cancellation (less than 24 hours): 30 minutes deducted.
    • Guests: Bring upto 3 additional players after the first free player for $10 per player/session when booking lanes without bowling machine.
    • Only 1 additional player allowed when booking lane with bowling machine
    • Complimentary bowling machine or 25-ball bucket, subject to availability.
    • You may hold up to 2 future sessions at a time.
    • Extra time may be purchased at 25% off standard hourly rate.
  • Plus — $149.99/month
    • Up to 60 minutes per day, 15 hours max per month.
    • Advance booking required.
    • No-show or late cancellation (less than 24 hours): 30 minutes deducted.
    • Guests: Bring upto 3 additional players after the first free player for $10 per player/session when booking lanes without bowling machine.
    • Only 1 additional player allowed when booking lane with bowling machine
    • Complimentary bowling machine or 25-ball bucket, subject to availability.
    • Extra time available at 25% off hourly rate, subject to availability.
  • Basic — $99.99/month Special Edition
    • Total 12 visits a month
    • Book minimum 30 minutes to maximum 60 minutes per day, 6 hours max per month.
    • Advance booking required.
    • No-show or late cancellation (less than 24 hours): 30 minutes deducted.
    • Guests: Bring upto 3 additional players after the first free player for $10 per player/session when booking lanes without bowling machine.
    • Only 1 additional player allowed when booking lane with bowling machine
    • Complimentary bowling machine subject to availability.
    • You may hold up to 2 future sessions at a time.
    • Extra time may be purchased at 25% off standard hourly rate.
    • Annual fees will be waived for the first year
    • A 3% payment processing fee will be added at checkout. All fees are non-refundable.

Booking Rules & Facility Hours

  • Book via website, mobile site, or in person. All bookings subject to availability.
  • Hold up to 2 sessions on 2 different days at any time.
  • Special Events & Closures: Hours may vary for events, Coaching, Lane Reservation or maintenance.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • More than 24 hours before: No penalty.
    • Less than 24 hours: Deduction per your plan rules.

One-Time Box Rental Packages

  • All sales final: Non-refundable.
  • Expiration: Must be used within 1 year of purchase.
  • Upto 8 players per box included as a part of the package. Each additional player $10/per session.
  • Equipment: Bring your own bat, tennis ball, and protective gear.
  • Tennis-ball cricket only. No hard-ball cricket permitted.
  • This package is designed for recreational play and friendly matches among family and friends. It is strictly for personal, non-commercial use and cannot be used for tournaments, coaching sessions, paid events, or organized leagues. Sixers & Stumps reserves the right to deny or cancel bookings if the facility is being used for commercial or unauthorized activities.
  • If canceled less than 24 hours member will be charged 30 minutes from their monthly allotted hours.
  • For Regular Price Box rental:
    • If canceled less than 24 hours customer will be not be refunded full amount instead future credit will be issued up to 50%.
    • Box reservation canceled before 24 hours prior to booking time will be eligible for full refund.

Safety, Conduct & Equipment

  • Follow staff directions and do not adjust machines without approval.
  • Protective gear required when using bowling machines or hard balls.
  • Do not cross safety lines or retrieve balls while the machine is running.
  • No cleats or metal spikes allowed.
  • No disruptive or unsafe behavior — may result in removal without refund.

Refunds, Credits & Make-Goods

No refunds for unused hours, Admin Fees, or Renewal Fees. If we cancel for operational reasons, we may offer a reschedule or credit at our discretion.

Photo/Video & Marketing Consent

By entering the facility, you consent to non-commercial photo/video capture for safety and operations. With separate opt-in, you may authorize use in marketing. You can withdraw consent anytime via email.

Assumption of Risk; Waiver; Indemnity

Participation in batting, bowling, and related activities involves inherent risks. All participants (or guardians for minors) must sign a Liability Waiver. By using the facility, you assume risks, release Sixers & Stumps from claims, and agree to indemnify Sixers & Stumps for third-party claims arising from your actions or rule violations.

Lost or Damaged Property

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. Secure your belongings at all times.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate membership for unsafe conduct, rule violations, fraud, non-payment, or abuse of benefits. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.

Electronic Communications

You consent to receive membership confirmations, renewal notices, and service updates electronically. Keep your contact info current.

Privacy

We collect and use personal information per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information. California residents may have additional rights.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or closures caused by events beyond our control, such as accidents, power outages, natural disasters, or public health directives.

Dispute Resolution; Governing Law; Arbitration Agreement

This Agreement is governed by California law. We agree to resolve disputes informally within 30 days before formal claims. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration (JAMS Consumer Arbitration Rules) in Orange County, California, unless otherwise agreed.

Class Action Waiver: Claims must be brought individually — no class or representative actions permitted.

Opt-Out Option: You may opt out within 30 days of your membership start date by emailing sixersandstumps@gmail.com with your name and request to opt out of arbitration.

Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement periodically. Material changes will be posted on our website and emailed to members. Continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms.
